Step 4: Serum

This is the last step to the night regime.

Ageing is a fact of life but serums can combat the enemies of skin and halt the ageing process to keep complexion looking younger for longer. Whatever your concern-be it wrinkles, skin brightening or instant re-hydration the serum can help to a larger extent.

Faster and lighter are the qualities many of us look for in a car, laptop . They're also the attributes of skin care serums-light, fast absorbing liquids used as an alternative to creams or lotions. Just a few drops are super-efficient.

The serum I'm going to talk about today is oil based. Most of us know how good the oils are for the skin and every oil has its own goodness. This oil has mix of all the goodness of different oils. This homemade oil based serum is light but intense, works best as over-night treatment. Anyone can use it irrespective of skin type. Oily beauties need to take lesser quantity of serum.

Benefits:
  • Light and a little goes long way.
  • Quickly and deeply absorbed by skin.
  • Keeps the skin hydrated and supple.
  • Helps in smoothing fine lines on mature skin.
  • Reduces age spots.
  • Can be used as make-up remover.

How to use
Use it in the night before hitting bed.
After cleansing and toning your face, apply a pea-sized amount of serum, patting it evenly over skin with your finger. Next morning you'll wake up to hydrated and supple skin.
